FRED S. ZEIDMAN, PRINCIPAL
HAS JOINED THE FIRM IN OUR
TURNAROUND AND RESTRUCTURING SERVICES PRACTICE

Fred Zeidman has joined XRoads Solutions Group as a Principal focused on growing the Firm’s global energy practice and spearheading other growth initiatives. He will be based in Houston, Texas.

Over the course of his distinguished 35-year career, Zeidman has been involved in numerous high-profile workouts, restructurings and reorganizations. He was former CEO, President and Chairman of Seitel, Inc., a Houston-based producer of technology used in petroleum exploration and production where he was instrumental in the successful turnaround of the Company. He most recently served as Chief Restructuring Officer of Transmeridian Exploration, Inc., an oil and gas exploration company, and Interim President of Nova Biosource Fuels, Inc., a publicly traded refiner and marketer of renewable biodiesel fuel products. He held the post of Chairman of the Board and CEO of Unibar Corporation, the largest domestic independent drilling fluids company, until its sale to Anchor Drilling Fluids in 1992.

In addition to his vast experience, Fred is also a prominent Houston-based civic leader. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Houston-based University of Texas Health Science System, Board Member and Chairman of the Investment Committee of Saint Thomas University, former Chairman of the Southwest Region Anti-Defamation League, Member of the Board of Development Corporation of Israel, and Member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Jewish National Fund (JNF). Along with his commitments to charitable organizations, Fred is Chairman of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council, a post to which he was appointed by President George W. Bush in 2002. He was named the National Finance Co-Chairman for the McCain '08 Committee. Fred is also Senior Director for Governmental Affairs at Ogilvy Government Relations in Washington D.C.
